Fayetteville Chamber Plans Regional Leadership Conference

The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce is starting a new program, Tomorrow’s Leaders of Northwest Arkansas.

The group is designed to provide local, professional development for individuals and corporate teams and facilitate connections with like professionals, while recognizing outstanding leaders in greater NWA, during an all-day conference in the spring of 2013.

The target market for this conference is individuals and corporate teams seeking local opportunities for professional development by providing varied career development tracks and catering to professionals at all levels.

A launch luncheon for the Tomorrow’s Leaders program, presented by Washington Regional Medical Center, is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Tuesday, March 27, in the University of Arkansas Union Ballroom.

Jeff Schomburger,president of the Global Walmart Team at Procter & Gamble, will be the keynote speaker.

Also, at the luncheon, Karen Boston, chairman of the Fayetteville Chamber Board of Directors, will announce details for the inaugural conference in early 2013, that will feature a motivational speaker and a professional speaker of notoriety.
