The board of Ozark Natural Foods will announce its decision to pay off its building loan at an event next week.
The board decided to pay off the loan in July 2011, and has since been voted on several times. The decision is one source of contention between the board and co-op members.
The announcement will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in front of the co-op in the Evelyn Hills Shopping Center, 1554 N. College Ave. in Fayetteville.
Ozark Natural Foods management is inviting owners, shoppers and community members to heard the board’s decision.
Ozark Natural Foods is a socially owned consumer cooperative, servicing more than 9,800 owners.
