Dustin Lynch — The rising country star behind the song “Cowboys and Angels” comes to George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville on Saturday. Dustin Lynch, who released a self-titled album on Aug. 21, also recently released the album’s second single, “She Cranks My Tractor.” Tickets ($15) for the 9 p.m. show are available at the club or through www.georgesmajesticlounge.com.
Flameing Daeth Fearies — Calling themselves a “cabaret punk rock sensation” that “bears their 13-year-old Internet nerd soul” to audiences, the Little Rock outfit Flameing Daeth Fearies comes to Northwest Arkansas for a event at 10 p.m. Sunday at Smoke & Barrel Tavern in Fayetteville. Admission is free.
“Catch Me If You Can” — Frank Abagnale Jr. forged millions of dollars worth of checks but later reformed and became a consultant to the FBI.
He would also cowrite his autobiography, “Catch Me If You Can,” which would later become an acclaimed movie directed by Steven Spielberg. That led to the Broadway version, which debuted in 2011 and earned four Tony Award nominations.
The touring production stops for eight shows starting Tuesday at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville. Tickets are $39-$59 at 443-5600.
