Lt. Gov. Bill Halter will join Gov. Mike Beebe on tomorrow’s flyover inspection of ice storm damage in north Arkansas, according to an an e-mail received minutes ago.

OK. The state’s chief executive will be accompanied on a fly-around by the guy who’s supposed to take over if there’s an emergency.

UPDATE: Beebe and Halter won’t ride in the same helicopter.
