State law requires any passenger or operator of a motorcycle to wear protective headgear unless the person is at least 21 years old. A bill to raise that age to 25 will be subject to a special order of business forum before the House Transportation Committee on Tuesday, March 3. The bill is House Bill 1481 by Rep. Gene Shelby, D-Hot Springs.
