Almost impossible? No problem!

Bentonville volleyball coach Michelle Coens said after Thursday night’s match against Fort Smith Northside that coming back from a 10-0 deficit — especially with the rally-point scoring system now used — is almost impossible. Somebody forgot to tell the Lady Tigers that. Bentonville made the “almost impossible” happen in the second game of its 7A-West Conference opener. The Lady Tigers … Read More

Springdale Har-Ber senior linebacker/rover Hunter Kissinger (6-3, 197) received a bit of good news around 8 a.m. this morning when he was offered his first Division I-A football scholarship offer. Wallace’s play encourages Bentonville

The final rushing stats for Bentonville sophomore running back Tearris Wallace during Friday’s scrimmage aren’t that eye-catching: just four carries for 18 yards. However, Wallace’s story is not one to be denied. He didn’t start playing football until he was in the eighth grade. His freshman season was cut short by a knee injury, but he went through vigorous rehabilitation … Read More

Gridirion Classic Very Classy

Just wrapped up a long evening here in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the preseason Gridiron Classic. Springdale Har-Ber and Bentonville were our local teams in the event, which included four schools from the Sooner State.
