Fayetteville built a 31-0 lead at the half and cruised to a 59-0 home win over Rogers Heritage on Friday, with plenty of help from the War Eagles.
Rogers Heritage had two muffed punts, two more fumbles for turnovers and almost no offense to speak of whatsoever as the Purple'Dogs got back to their winning ways following last week's 47-43 loss at Har-Ber.
Taylor Powell completed 23 of 33 passes for 320 yards and 4 TDs - to four different receivers and the Fayetteville defense limited Heritage to just 43 total yards on the night in the lopsided affair as the … Continue Reading ››

Members of the 2005 state champion Springdale Bulldogs football team, including head coach Gus Malzahn, tight end Ben Cleveland and wide receiver Damian Williams, had a reunion before Springdale's homecoming game against Fort Smith Northside on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015.
The threat of bad weather forced a few teams to move their games up to Thursday, meaning Week 8 of the Arkansas high school season has already begun.
A forfeit by Rose Bud earlier in the week gave Harding Academy a win, while Texarkana beat Little Rock Parkview 35-14, Fouke beat Genoa Central 22-0, Clarendon beat Marvell 30-14 and Mineral Springs beat Foreman 36-28 Thursday.
Here are a few storylines to keep an eye on for the 96 games Friday night.
