Posted on November 14, 2012 by Kevin Kinder in Entertainment, Tuned In No Comments

Less than a week after fans leave Wakarusa, which takes place May 30 through June 2 at the Mulberry Mountain site in rural Franklin Country, more music lovers will have a reason to visit the area. The weekend in music, with Adam Faucett and more

Adam Faucett photo by Mimosa Arts Music isn’t hard to come by this weekend. With hundreds of thousands of extra people in town for Bikes, Blues & BBQ, the clubs in the area are providing them a soundtrack (to accompany the cacophony of tailpipes, of course). We listed a full schedule of music a couple days ago; feel free to check it out before heading down to Dickson Street or the fairgrounds. Beyond the officially sanctioned music on the various BB&BBQ stages, many clubs will be filled with live music, too.

The weekend in music, with Boris Silva and more

Boris Silva Here’s one of the main reasons the weekend is great: Because we don’t have to work and we can do whatever we want. Well, maybe some of us have to work, but for me, that means covering the Fayetteville Roots Festival, so it could be WAY worse. What’s the Roots Festival? Glad you asked.

Soon in tunes: TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb, various venues

Click here to view the embedded video. TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb argue that you “Can’t Come Back.” But they’re doing just that when they perform in the area this week. So, how does TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb describe themselves? According to Facebook, the band “sound(s) like Bob Seger high on cocaine in the bathtub watching Werner Herzog movies on the ceiling.” Perhaps it’s better to hear for yourself.
