Def Leppard photo by Gitte Meldgaard More than 30 years after they first set fire to the music world, Def Leppard continues to ignite crowds at shows across the world. The veteran U.K. rockers are currently traveling the country on the “Rock of Ages” tour, a string of dates that pulls its name from one of their many hit songs, which would later provide a title to the popular movie and musical. Vivian Campbell, who has played guitar for Def Leppard since 1992, talked to me recently about the band’s continued popularity and the current state of the music industry.

Cory Branan photo by Joshua Black Wilkins Cory Branan remembers his time in Fayetteville fondly. He remembers his apartment near the castle in Wilson Park. He remembers his shows at JR’s, back in the days he was doing about 55-60 gigs per year, a paltry total compared to what he’ll tackle in 2012. Branan spent his formative years in Memphis, Tenn., often palling around with Lucero.

Earnest “Guitar” Roy I once did a story about seasonal affective disorder, which often happens during periods of extended rainfall or short days. We’ve had a lot of rain the past few days, so maybe it’s fitting that the blues are featured prominently this weekend. This is weekend for the annual Blues in the Natural State event, which this year extends to four bars on Saturday (March 24)
