Upon hearing opening act Colm Kirwan charm the audience with his Irish brogue and a twinkle in his eye, my girlfriend and concert companion remarked that he got away with it because of his accent. After hearing about 10 minutes of Don Williams’ nearly 90-minute set at the Walton Arts Center on Tuesday (10/9), I turned to her, telling her a truism about Williams — he can get away with anything because of his voice, too.
