The best way to describe the one-and-only Ted Nugent was actually offered by the guitarist and part-time political activist about midway through his 75-minute set on Sunday (June 10) evening at the Arkansas Music Pavilion. Accused (perhaps by himself) of being a little feisty, he corrected that assessment in front of a crowd of about 1,000 fans.

Although he was originally from Milwaukee, Wi., blues guitarist Michael Burks established himself while living in Arkansas. He launched a career from Camden, where his family owned the Bradley Ferry Country Club.
