Soon in tunes: The National Rifle, April 30 at Smoke and Barrel
The National Rifle Philadelphia band The National Rifle released four EPs prior to this year’s full-length debut album “Almost Endless.” On a tour to promote the new record, the quartet will pass through Fayetteville for a show on Tuesday night (April 30) at Smoke & Barrel Tavern. The set begins at 9:30 p.m., and admission is free.

New York folk songwriter Melanie, who performed at the fabled Woodstock concert, will perform at 6:30 p.m. Thursday (July 12) at The Auditorium in Eureka Springs. Melanie recorded hits such as “Brand New Key” and “Lay Down (Candles in the Rain).” Melanie last performed in the area for a headlining gig at the 2008 Ozark Folk Festival.
