Aaron Goldberg On Saturday (June 30), when Aaron Goldberg touches the piano keys, he will launch into not only his piano trio repertoire but also the KUAF Summer Jazz Concert Series. The series, coordinated by Robert Ginsburg and the Northwest Arkansas Jazz Society, returns for its 14 year. The 2012 season features three shows, including the Aaron Goldberg Trio on Saturday, the Composer’s Showcase on July 28 and guitarist Vic Juris on Aug.

Someone I follow on Twitter suggested there was an error in the billing of the Chip tha Ripper, Big Boi and Kid Cudi show at the University of Arkansas’ Barnhill Arena on Sunday (April 29) night. Big Boi, one half the rap giant (and ever-present soundtrack at clubs during my collegiate days) OutKast, was clearly the bigger deal than Kid Cudi, a relative newcomer to the scene, this person argued.
