The National Rifle Philadelphia band The National Rifle released four EPs prior to this year’s full-length debut album “Almost Endless.” On a tour to promote the new record, the quartet will pass through Fayetteville for a show on Tuesday night (April 30) at Smoke & Barrel Tavern. The set begins at 9:30 p.m., and admission is free.

Here, Luke Bryan sings “Buzzkill.” I have to imagine the country artist, who performs this summer at the Thunder on the Mountain festival, is feeling pretty high right now though after winning the Academy of County Music’s Entertainer of the Year Award on Sunday (April 8). Part of the fun (and worry) is seeing how packed certain days are going to be at music festivals. There’s usually a blend of joy — seeing so many great acts in proximity to one another — and dread — at learning two of your favorite artists will perform at the exact same time.

But, perhaps you’ve got a couple ideas for bands, those you think would do well in this area

Hipster folk band Of Monsters and Men have a song called “Mountain Sound.” That’s pretty perfect for Wakarusa, the annual Northwest Arkansas music festival they will play at this summer. The list that follows doesn’t contain all of the bands that will perform at this year’s Wakarusa … but it should get you excited about the festival anyway.
